In the model home, it is the job of the sales representative to sell you a house (or condominium). With the sales representative in the model home, a lot of people feel they do not need assistance. However, the sales representative is working for the builder. You do not have to go it alone with the sales representative.
Often the sales representative will ask you to "just fill out a little card" so they can contact you. On that card, or form, is a place asking how you found the Builder. That is where you need to put a Realtor's name. If you don't, they will not allow you to have a Realtor represent you in the transaction.

We have direct access to the Columbus Board of Realtors MLS and provide this information to our clients. With direct access there is no delay from the time a home is listed for sale to when we have access to the information.
